Federal-Mogul has today announced the appointment of Alan Haughie to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer. 

Haughie will continue to serve as a corporate officer and member of the Federal-Mogul Strategy Board and will report directly to José Maria Alapont, president and CEO.
 
“Alan brings strong global business knowledge, financial and strategic planning experience to this role,” Alapont said.  “He will contribute to Federal-Mogul’s relentless drive for leading technology and innovation, world-class customer satisfaction and sustainable global profitable growth.”
 
Haughie had been vice president, chief accounting officer and controller for Federal-Mogul since 2005.  He served previously as director, corporate finance and was responsible for operational reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.  Prior to that assignment, he was controller for Federal-Mogul’s European aftermarket business.
 
Before joining Federal-Mogul in 1994, Haughie was employed with Ernst & Young in the United Kingdom in various audit roles.
 
Haughie, 46, is a chartered accountant and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Manchester, UK.
