Faurecia is expanding its manufacturing in Michigan after winning the business to supply interior modules for the 2013 Cadillac ATS.
The French supplier, part of the PSA group, has opened a second plant in Fraser and hired 106 people. The new facility also makes instrument panels and centre console components for the Ford Focus and Faurecia has another plant less than a mile away.

Faurecia is the eighth-largest auto supplier in North America and the biggest interior supplier globally, employing 84,000 people in 33 countries, including 3,400 in Michigan.
In May, the company announced it was buying Ford’s Saline interior components operation.
