Daimler Vans USA (DVU) said Sprinter van sales volume for 2010 rose 2.5% to 8,559.
The Mercedes-Benz designed, US assembled Sprinter has been a familiar sight in the country since 2001 but last year was the first for its new sales and service network.
Since 2001, the Sprinter has been sold in the US by Freightliner, a manufacturer of medium and heavy-duty trucks.
Mercedes-Benz USA began offering the Sprinter line through some of its dealers in 2010.
