In 2014, Chrysler has been unable make on time payments to several suppliers, reports USA Today.
The reason behind the delay is technical snags with the new invoice and payment system PentaSAP that the company stated rolling out from 1 January for around 1,500 of its suppliers. The system has been rejecting invoices, which have been submitted by the suppliers, for no apparent reason.

Chrysler has started a call centre and hotline services to handle questions related to the issue. The company purchases goods and services worth US$7bn per year from these suppliers.
Meanwhile, this technical snag has not affected the automaker’s vehicle production.
