The Dart was the first car jointly designed and engineered by Fiat and Chrysler since the Italian company took management control in 2009. Its platform is also used for the Fiat Viaggio sedan made in China and will underpin all future Chrysler compact cars and crossovers. It will eventually be used for 2m vehicles annually.
