Chrysler has named Federico Goretti managing director of Chrysler UK, replacing Simon Elliott who moved to head Volkswagen’s UK commercial vehicles unit.

Goretti has been managing director of Chrysler Italy and was most recently international project director at Chrysler LLC. He has international sales and marketing experience having worked for a number of different auto manufacturers in Japan and the UK, as well as Italy.
“I’m confident Federico will enjoy good chemistry with our strong team of dealers and Chrysler employees,” said Thomas Hausch, Chrysler’s vice president – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “We informed our dealer council ahead of this announcement and the reaction was very positive. They welcome his vast Chrysler background, substantial international sales and marketing experience – particularly in the UK – as well as his high standing with Chrysler headquarters as a result of his past successes.”
Goretti will report to director – international sales & marketing, western and central Europe, Jacques Bousquet.
