Hertz is offering the 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV for rental at its San Francisco and Los Angeles airport locations, as well as Hertz local facilities throughout California.

Hertz says the Chevrolet Spark is just one of its “Smart Mobility” rental choices, which includes electric vehicles, hybrids and car sharing. Smart Mobility is part of the company’s sustainability roadmap to reduce the environmental impacts of driving, without compromising convenience or customer needs. The goal is to help make smart, sustainable mobility a viable, global reality by giving customers and communities access to, and the experience of, driving greener rentals.
The company adds that the Hertz EV program provides customers global access to EVs. The program has grown from a vision to a market reality in more than ten cities and three continents, offering a diverse fleet of EVs from manufacturers such as Nissan, GM and Tesla.
