Allied Systems Holdings, formerly Allied Holdings, said that, from 29 May, it has emerged from bankruptcy after it “substantially consummated” transactions made under a plan of reorganisation filed in conjunction with financiers and the Teamsters union.
Under the plan, confirmed by the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Allied Holdingswas merged with and into its subsidiary, Allied Systems Holdings with Allied Systems Holdings, as the surviving corporation.
Allied’s subsidiaries provide a full range of finished vehicle services include car transport, intramodal transport, inspection, accessory fitting and dealer preparation.
