BorgWarner is expanding its existing manufacturing operations in Oconee County, South Carolina with the US$13.3m investment expected to create 50 new jobs during the next five years.
The supplier last announced a South Carolina expansion in November 2013, a US$24.6m investment, which created 105 new jobs.

With this new expansion, BorgWarner will be remaining in its existing facility and will look to increase its transfer case production.
The expansion will be achieved with the purchase of new machinery and the expected hiring of 50 new employees, which will bring its total local employment to more than 750.
