ArvinMeritor has completed the sale of its Body Systems business to an affiliate of Inteva Products for an estimated purchase price of US$27.27m.
Inteva designs, engineers, manufactures, and assembles interior, access control, door, roof, electronics and motor systems, and advanced materials and processes for carmakers globally. It has 43 facilities on four continents.

Chip McClure, ArvinMeritor chairman, CEO and president said the transaction completes his company’s transformation, adding: “It will further our ability to achieve our financial goals with the continued strengthening of our core operations in the global commercial vehicle and industrial markets.”
ArvinMeritor provides a broad portfolio of axle, brake and suspension systems to OEMs and the aftermarket.
