ArvinMeritor has named Deborah deBoer Henderson vice president and general manager of the company’s light vehicle systems (LVS) global door systems business.

Henderson is the first female to hold the role of business unit vice president and general manager at the supplier and will report to Juan De La Riva, president of LVS.
Henderson will be responsible for the product marketing, design, engineering, manufacturing and delivery of the company’s light vehicle door systems and modules products produced at 15 different facilities in 11 countries.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry in positions of increasing responsibility. Henderson joined ArvinMeritor in 2002, serving most recently as vice president of quality, engineering and technology within LVS, covering product development and launch optimisation. Previously, she served as site manager of the company’s sunroof manufacturing facility in Detroit.
