The purchase included an 80,000 sq ft forged aluminum wheel manufacturing facility in Camden, South Carolina which Accuride plans to convert to make own brand commercial vehicle aluminium wheels.
Accuride president and CEO, Rick Dauch, said: “This acquisition strengthens our core product offering by increasing our aluminium wheel capacity, giving us a close to customer production presence in the southeast, and affording greater flexibility to balance production between three aluminum wheel plants.”
