JAC has launched a raft of car models onto the Ukraine car market.
The company said that all models (J2, New J3, J5, J6, S5) being released for sale in the Ukraine market will achieve local CKD assembly by the end of the year, with plans to export to Russia and CIS markets as local – Ukriane – content rises above 50%.
Some Chinese OEMs view emerging markets as good places to test and develop export strategies. Such markets generally come with fewer regulatory demands in areas such as engine emissions and crash safety.
