According to Prime-Tass, Bogdan produced 17,742 VAZ cars, down 38.9%, 15,932 Kias, up from about 4,400 units, and 15,005 Hyundais, up from about 3,750 last year.
The Kiev-based automaker plans to produce 55,000 cars this year, up 35% on the year, the company said in a report seen by the news agency. In 2006, car output rose 31.3% to 40,290 units.
