Volkswagen
announced today (4/12/00) that it has reduced its ‘on the road’ prices by up to
11% with an average reduction of 7%.
Examples of the latest price reductions (a 4% cut was made in January) include
a 7.2% decrease on the Golf GTI, while the price of the 204 bhp Golf V6 4MOTION
drops by 11%. A New Beetle 1.6 is down 4.5%.
