Vauxhall fleet sales director Maurice Howkins, is now responsible for all Saab sales to 25-plus fleets in the UK though sales to sub-25 fleets, small businesses and retail sales will remain the responsibility of the Saab sales operation – Saab has also relocated its offices to Maidenhead, Berkshire from Marlow in Buckinghamshire.

Vauxhall’s existing fleet sales teams are being given targets for Saab across their designated market areas – corporate and fleet, rental team and leasing, and the latter will also be responsible for managing Saab whole life costs as well as model positioning with leasing companies.

The Vauxhall demonstrator programme will add Saab models to its fleet.

“This new alliance brings Vauxhall and Saab a competitive advantage in being able to offer a broad range of vehicles for all driver needs,“ Howkins said.
