JATO Dynamics is providing Renault UK with a point-of-sale system that provides showroom sales staff with current product comparison information.

JATO is supplying Renault’s 250 dealer showrooms with a heavily customised version of its CARSPECS product, which contains comprehensive and up-to-date specifications and pricing data.
The system covers both passenger cars and light commercial models. The dealers will be able to see the advantages of a specific model against any other in the market, based on independent information, and pass that on to the customer.
“With the market so competitive and fast-changing it’s vital to know where you stand against the competition”, Renault said.
Last year, Renault-Nissan announced a deal with JATO for competitive analysis data and software for product planning and price positioning of new and existing models across Europe.
JATO supplies data and software to the majority of the UK’s car manufacturers and importers, an increasing number of dealer operations including groups such as Sytner, Lancaster and Arnold Clark. A version of its model comparison product can also be found on general ‘consumer’ motoring websites including MSN Cars.
