A number of vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers are investigating the potential for wireless EV battery charging. Using principles of magnetic induction, it could be a solution to some of the practical issues – like charging cords – that are associated with EVs and battery charging.
Qualcomm will be pleased to be working closely with Renault on a trial in this area.
