The system allows a driver entering the vehicle to continue a telephone conversation started outside ‘hands-free’ without having to carry out any additional operation – with the handset placed anywhere within the cabin of the car.
Once the handset is placed into the cradle, the vehicle’s multi-function display can then be used in conjunction with the handset’s features.
The telephone kit is a £160.00 option and is claimed to be compatible with most Blue Tooth handsets.
