Gabi Whitfield, currently general manager, press and public affairs for UK Mitsubishi importers the Colt Car Company, is returning to her old company to become communications director at Nissan Motor (GB), replacing Wayne Bruce who was recently promoted to communications director for Infiniti Europe.

Whitfield has previously worked at both Nissan Europe in France and at Nissan Motor (GB). She starts on 30 July.


She will report to both Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd’s managing director, Gary Frigo, and to the vice president of communications for Nissan Europe, Jean-Paul Mari.


Gabi’s predecessor Bruce has moved to head up the communications function at Infiniti Europe, Nissan’s premium brand, based in Switzerland. Infiniti will be launched across Europe during 2008.
