The next generation Clubman is due to appear within the next 12 months and will be larger. This fact was confirmed by the appearance of the Clubman concept at the Geneva motor show in March. This was 26cm longer and 17cm wider than the current model and also had four frameless passengers doors instead of the outgoing car’s three. It retained the two vertically-hinged tailgate doors. BMW Group quoted the near-production concept’s dimensions as follows: length, 4,223 mm; width, 1,844 mm (not incl. mirrors); height, 1,450 mm. This made it the longest Mini yet.
