Tata Motors’ luxury vehicle division, Jaguar Land Rover, boosted September sales 17% year on year to 43,181 units. Year to date sales rose 16% to 312,834.
The company reported rises last month in in all major regions: China up 46%, Asia Pacific up 29%, UK up 11%, Europe up 8%, North America up 6% and other overseas markets up 15%. YTD sales were also up in all major regions with Asia Pacific up 29%, China up 24%, North America up 17%, UK up 15%, Europe up 5% and other overseas markets up 19%.

Jaguar sold 8,462 vehicles, up 35%, last month as F-type deliveries kicked in. China Region sales rose 218% thanks to new models developed specifically for that market.
Jaguar YTD volume was up 38% to 57,660 vehicles with a 122% increase in China.
Land Rover sales rose 13% to 34,719 vehicles with Evoque volume up 31% to a record September result.
YTD volume was up 12% to 255,174.
