Betteley joined JLR from Toyota where he was head of financial services in the UK, Europe and Africa.
Betteley, current chairman of the UK’s Finance and Leasing Association, now heads global Jaguar and Land Rover financial services.
“Offering financial services opportunities has never been more important, particularly in the premium vehicle segments,” said Betteley, who reports to JLR customer services director Mike Wright.
JLR finance partners include Fiat Credit Agricole in Europe, Chase Manhattan in the US and Wesbank in South Africa.
These replace the Ford Credit links in place when Ford owned JLR.
