Daihatsu, Honda, Lexus and Toyota have topped (five stars) a UK JD Power/What Car? Magazine dealer service satisfaction survey.
Runners-up (four stars) included Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda and Volvo but parent Ford was mid-pack with three.
Fiat rated two stars but only two owners submitted responses to the survey of 18,187 car owners quizzed about service initiation, service advisor, dealer facility, vehicle pick-up and service quality.
Odd comments included Toyota Prius owners saying booking their cars in for attention was a “little tricky” but the survey did not elaborate on why dealers single hybrid owners out.
Alfa Romeo and Smart were ranked bottom with one star each. The Italian brand’s owners disliked everything; Smart owners liked dealer facilities but not much else.
