The Royal Bank of Scotland`s insurance arm Direct Line, is to enter the online car market today (12/7/00) with a £15 million promotional campaign to promote its website, reports the UK`s `Times` newspaper.
`Jamjar.com`, which has struck up an alliance with the car retailer Dixon Motors, hopes to save customers 25-30% on special-offer cars, and around 10% on UK and overseas sourced vehicles. The company claims to be able to source all UK and imported new and used cars except hearses, for consumers.
