Honda (UK) – which distributes motorcycles and power products as well as cars – has announced a number of senior management changes following the appointment of a new managing director last April.
Leon Brannan, formerly head of aftersales immediately becomes ‘head of car’, succeeding Phil Crossman who became managing director in April, replacing Dave Hodgetts who took up the new role of European regional auditor.

The next three years will “see a transformation in Honda’s model line up” and Leon will “lead the UK sales force to fully exploit increased market opportunity”, the automaker said in a statement.
Nick Holmes is now head of customer and aftersales, also with immediate effect. Holmes, who started his Honda career in aftersales, has been with the company for 18 years. He was most recently regional operations manager for the southern region prior to rejoining aftersales 15 months ago.
Olivia Dunn who has been acting head of marketing for cars, motorcycles and power products, has now been promoted to head of marketing. Honda said Dunn was behind recent advertising promotions including the new ‘Honda Hands’ campaign on TV’s Channel 4.
Strengthening area operations, Ian Austerberry, formerly in businesss planning, becomes manager- southern region operations, effective 1 August.

In car forecasting and planning, Rosemarie Oliver has been promoted to manager- corporate and business planning, also from 1 August.
Crossman said: ” With a range new models and cleaner engines such as Civic Tourer [estate/wagon], Type R and Jazz and the ‘halo’ effect of returning to Formula One in 2015, I’m confident this new team will maximise the opportunities we’ll have in both the retail and fleet markets in the coming years.”
