Great Wall will become the first Chinese brand on sale in the UK with the launch of its Steed double-cab pick-up truck next month. The model, imported and distributed by multi-brand experts IM Group, will make its debut at the 2012 Commercial Vehicle Show on 24-26 April.
The pickup will be priced at GBP13,998 (US$22,347), and will be offered with a two-litre turbodiesel engine with six-speed gearbox and 2WD/4WD drivetrain.

Other right hand drive markets for the model include Australia and New Zealand.
Compatriot Geely will follow Great Wall on to the UK market late this year through London black cab maker Manganese Holdings.
