Engineering consultancy, Drive System Design (DSD), has begun the process of moving into its new 20,000 sq ft technical facility in Leamington Spa, UK, located close to several major customers and key suppliers in the Midlands.

“Combining our UK activities at a single location will be a massive benefit to us and our clients,” said DSD managing director, Mark Findlay. “It simplifies control, improves communication, speeds up response and ultimately produces a better service for our customers.
“It provides immediate efficiency improvements and, longer term, the space for expansion.”
DSD has already relocated its design and control systems function to the new site: workshop and test facilities will follow.
The company has a range of test capabilities allowing it to provide turn-key solutions to customers in the transmissions and driveline industry.
The new, larger facility will enable the company to improve its testing capability and allow it to provide low volume assembly for the first time.
