Daewoo in the UK is introducing a series of special offers and competitive finance packages to kick-start depressed Daewoo sales.
The bankrupt carmaker is offering the Matiz City Car with a £600 cashback offer on the SE derivative, which now retails at £5,995. In addition, while stocks last, Daewoo will be offering free air conditioning on a Matiz SE+ at the new price of £6,995, a saving of £800.
The Nubira CDX is available with a £1,500 cashback, bringing the starting price of the four-door to £10,495 and the estate to £11,495.
There is also a 0% hire purchase scheme on the Lanos SX four- and five-door with a 30% deposit and the balance payable over three years.
Daewoo’s UK passenger car sales slumped by 45% in 2001 to just 19,148 units.
