All of the cars in the new range are made by General Motors’ Daewoo operation in South Korea.

The Chevrolet brand was last used in the UK on US-built, right hand Blazer SUVs launched in the late 1990s together with RHD Cadillac Seville and LHD Chevrolet Camaro models but none was very successful here and sales volumes were low.

Two new model variations have been added as part of the ‘bow tie’ brand roll-out – the Lacetti Sport hatchback and the Lacetti (Nubira) Station Wagon. Chevrolet UK is also adding three-door Kalos models to the line-up, which also includes the Matiz citycar, Lacetti sedan and Tacuma minivan.

Most outlets in the 75-strong Chevrolet UK dealer network were previously Daewoo dealers who will continue to handle warranty and service for Daewoo owners.
