BMW’s Rolls-Royce has completed a recruitment campaign hiring workers for 100 new permanent jobs.

The company started recruiting in January after record sales in 2013.

The new jobs are in the manufacturing areas and the successful recruits are, primarily, agency workers moving to permanent roles. More than 1,500 people are now employed on site.

Earlier this month, the automaker said it would build a new technology and logistics centre at Bognor Regis, close to its Goodwood factory.

The new 30,000 sq m centre will consolidate a number of current technical and logistics functions and allow for future expansion.

Around 200 people will be employed at the centre with a number of new roles created in addition to those transferred from existing logistics functions.
