An unnamed spokesman for Ford was quoted by Clarion as saying, “We have always found the London Motor Show to be an excellent and important venue to present our products”.

Christopher Macgowan, SMMT chief executive said, “The London Motor Show is an important sales platform for the UK car industry and an exciting automotive showcase that is fully supported by SMMT”.
