UK: Backeye launches TFT-screen colour CCTV system for commercial vehicles
UK company Brigade Electronics has launched a new rear-view closed circuit TV system called Backeye which uses thin-film transistor (TFT) technology for the 5.6 inch flat-screen colour monitor and is intended primarily for use in commercial vehicles. Slimline design and small size mean the monitor should fit easily in virtually any CV cab, even when space is limited. The monitor can take inputs from three separate cameras or two cameras plus a navigation system and an automatic switching system turns on the main camera whenever reverse gear is engaged.
