Vehicle sales in Turkey in 2013 were up 10% to 853,378 units, according to the Turkish automotive distributors’ organisation.
Passenger car sales rose 20% to 664,655 units last year, the organisation said.

Private consumption was strong in Turkey in 2013, but local analysts suggest that the outlook is for some slowdown given a tightening of credit, higher inflation and some uncertainties over taxation.
