Sales of passenger cars totaled 20,651 units while 10,521 light commercial vehicles were delivered.
Last year vehicle production fell 24% year on year to 869,953 units.
Recent reports have noted that Turkish demand for cars could fall 10% this year if the economic crisis persists, but that production should be stable. The country is an export base for a number of automakers including Renault, Fiat, Hyundai, Toyota and Ford.
