Ford Otosan said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange that its 4,505 employees at the plant would not work during this period.


The output suspension was the latest in a series already announced by Turkish vehicle makers, including Ford Otosan.


The Turkish automotove industry is being hit this year by weaker exports to slumped markets in Europe as well as lower demand at home.
