The first shipment of some 200 Renault Dacia Logan cars has arrived in Tunisia from Morocco where the cars have been assembled in Renault’s new plant.

In a press conference, Mr. Ridha Ben Mosbah, Minister of Commerce and Handicrafts, said that the trade between Tunisia and Morocco is gradually progressing due to the strong relationship between both countries.

He also remarked that some 450,000 Tunisian families have benefited from low-budget cars (popular cars) in Tunisia.

The export of the Dacia Logan cars to the Tunisian market was decided at the meeting of commerce ministers of the countries that signed the Agadir free trade Agreement.
