A British man is attempting to make it into record books by hand painting an entire car with nail varnish, a press release from Fiat UK said.
David Sheath, 28, will cover an entire 500 in pink polish for his Guinness World Record attempt.

He is living and sleeping in a special studio in south London, while he completes the mammoth task, expected to take at least a week. He will stay inside the specially set-up challenge room until the job is finished. To get through his effort he’ll have a television, bed, rug and toilet.
His progress is being streamed live on the internet and Heath is also ‘tweeting’ progress via Twitter.
It is estimated he will need 200 pots of pink varnish and make 240,000 brush strokes to turn the white Fiat pink.
The effort began on Thursday (21 January).
The wannabe record breaker, who is recently single, was quoted as saying: “I broke up with my girlfriend and thought this would be a great way to get through it. I hope to nail the job in seven days but I’ve never done anything like this before.”
A Guinness World Records spokesman said: “This sounds like a potentially interesting claim.”
Fiat UK this week announced a GBP11,700 limited edition Pink version of the 500 which has GBP1,500’s worth of extra equipment (as well as the bright paint job) for GBP1,000 more than the 1.2-litre Lounge version on which it’s based.
