New vehicle sales in Thailand declined by 21.6% to 73,068 units in November, compared with 93,123 units in the same month of 2013, according to the Federation of Thai Industries.
Year-earlier sales had already fallen by over 37% from peak volumes of 148,243 in November 2012 which helps to highlight the depth of the recession in the country’s automotive market.

Cumulative sales in the first 11 months of 2014 fell by 34.9% to 792,075 units, from 1,216,391 units in the same period of last year.
