Thai domestic car and truck sales rose 19.9% in October from the same month in 2003 after a 14.0% rise in September, Toyota Motor Corp’s Thai unit reported on Wednesday.

According to Reuters, Toyota, compiling vehicle sales for the whole industry, has forecast Thai domestic car and truck sales would rise 10.7% to a record 600,000 in 2004, beating a previous annual high of 589,126 in 1996.
