Ford Thailand, in cooperation with its dealer Chonburi Top Car, recently handed over a new fleet of locally-built Everest 4×4 models to the office of permanent secretary of the interior ministry after the automaker’s fleet business unit won a “big” purchase order from the state agency.

Ford did not, however, disclose the size of the order and spokesmen could not be reached immediately for comment.
“Fleet is one of our major businesses which contribute greatly to [our] success and competitive advantages,” said Ford Thailand’s vice president – sales and marketing, Saroj Kiatfuengfoo in a statement.
“Winning such a big account from a government agency is very meaningful to us… To win the bid, we had to successfully pass the tough and transparent selection process which also involves a demanding spec, demonstrate our product’s superior quality, performance and ability to meet the agency’s needs and requirement, and prove that it is value for money.
In addition, we have successfully proved that our world-class after-sales service is guaranteed at over 90… showrooms nationwide.”
