Car and truck sales in Thailand fell 30.7% year on year in February after a 29.8% fall in January and an 8.3% drop in December, Toyota Motor’s Thai unit said.

Toyota, which compiles vehicle sales for the whole industry, told Reuters domestic car and truck sales fell 2.5% to 615,270 units in 2008 after a 7.5% fall to 631,251 in 2007.
It has forecast domestic auto sales will fall another 15.4% in 2009.
