Daewoo Motor’s distributor in Thailand – Thai Daewoo Motor Sales – is to shut
down following the bankruptcy of its South Korean parent, say Asian news sources
(19/12/00).
Around 12 Daewoo dealers are expected to follow suit as the head office of
Daewoo is unable to source neither new cars nor spare parts.
