Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI) said it recently approved 18 new investment projects worth a combined THB122.84bn.
Among the projects it has approved is an application by Toyota to spend THB51.5bn to increase pickup truck and component production capacity at its plant in Chachoengsao.
The BOI also approved an application by Chinese-owned LLIT (Thailand) to build a plant with a capacity to make 11.2m tyres per year in Chon Buri province.
