
Supplier Teknia, which makes metal and plastic parts, said first half 2023 sales rose 29% year on year to EUR229.4m due to strong repeat orders and production.
Market growth was 13%. EBITDA soared 70% to EUR24.1m despite rising costs “but where raw material and energy price increases are starting to be contained”.
Net profit was up 95% to EUR9.25m.
EBITDA margin was up 2.5% at 10.5% and EBIT rose 125% to EUR15.1m though it was “slightly affected” by capital expenditure during the first half.
Teknia continued international expansion during H1 2023, acquiring a “Swedish company” making aluminium and magnesium products for steering and chassis parts.
