Hotai Motor, Toyota and Lexus’ local distributor, reported a 4.7% increase to 10,991 units to claim a market share of close to 34%. Yulon Motor, the distributor of Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, reported a 2.9% rise to 3,676 units while China Motor’s sales of Mitsubishi-based vehicles fell by over 23% to 3,761 units.

First half sales fell by 2.9% to 182,327 units, reflecting buyers holding back for better deals earlier in the year.
