Toyota Australia has issued a teaser image of a Lexus concept that will have its world premiere on 18 October at the Sydney motor show’s media preview day.
Few details of the design study have been released, though it is known that the vehicle will be an evolution of the LF-LC concept which starred at the Detroit show in January. That car was said to be rear-wheel drive, whereas the concept for the Sydney show will have all-wheel drive.

Lexus’ announcement means the show now has one global debut. Despite the Australian new vehicle market continuing its boom – there has not been a recession in the country for 21 years – the Sydney motor show’s promoter notes that 22 brands will not be attending the event.
