Spyker owned Saab has said it will reduce production due to typically slower sales in winter but raise it again later and is sticking to its target of 80,000 cars this year.
Spokesman Eric Geers told Reuters Saab would reduce output to 28 cars an hour from 39 on a temporary basis.

“This is normal for the winter months, when we face early spring we will go up again,” he said. “Our target for 80,000 remains.”
Swedish radio had quoted the chairman of the local union branch, Hakan Skott, as saying that production of 28 cars an hour would not be enough to meet the 80,000 target and also said output would have to be raised to 35 or 39 cars.
“We will pick up speed here in a month or two,” he said.
