Saab Automobile has named Matthias Seidl as interim chief operating officer for Saab Cars North America, effective immediately, replacing Michael Colleran, “who has resigned to pursue further career opportunities”.
Seidl temporarily takes the new post in addition to his current position as executive director global sales for Saab Automobile.
Seidl has considerable experience in the United States market, having spent several years as COO for Volkswagen of America in the late 2000s. Prior to that, he was American region sales chief for Volkswagen and Audi.
