Vanersborg District Court has formally placed Saab Automobile, Saab Automobile Powertrain and Saab Automobile Tools in liquidation and bankruptcy.

Hans Bergqvist from Delphi in Gothenburg and Anne-Marie Pouteaux at Wistrand Law Firm in the same city, have been appointed as trustees.

A Vanersborg Court employee told just-auto Saab’s estate inventory would now be evaluated with the automaker having to swear all its details are correct.

What the Court refers to as an oath administration meeting will then take place, with this expected to be somewhere around 16 April next year.

Saab CEO Victor Muller applied to have the company put the company in bankruptcy yesterday (19 December) following the decision by Chinese manufacturer Youngman not to proceed with investment.

Former parent General Motor opposed the latest proposals put forward by Saab on its onwnership structure.
